Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026. This policy covers Early Commit (Instagram @earlycommit, Threads @earlycommit, the Facebook Page "Early Commit"), this website, and the "Early Commit Publisher" app, operated by Unileaf Technology Private Limited, India.

What the app does

The app publishes short videos about open-source GitHub repositories to Early Commit's own Instagram, Facebook and Threads accounts, and replies to comments on those posts with the link that was asked for.

Data we process

• When you comment on an Early Commit post: the comment ID, its text and your public username, received from Meta, used only to send the requested link and to avoid replying twice.
• We store the IDs of comments we have answered for up to 90 days. We do not store profile data, messages beyond the reply we send, or anything else.

What we don't do

No selling or sharing of data, no advertising profiles, no cookies or analytics on this website. Reel pages load Instagram's embed, which is subject to Instagram's own policy.
